China Glaze - Entourage and Barry M - Instant Nail Effect

Yes! I'm finally back to blogging! I found a lamp in my living room that I can take almost decent pictures with, so better than nothing.

Here's a mani I was sporting at the beginning of this week. China Glaze - Entourage, topped with Barry M crackle polish. ChG would take at least three polishes to look ok enough to wear alone, but I got away with two because I put the crackle polish over it. I didn't put any top coat on, because I wanted the crackle polish to stay matte. Consequently, the black started falling off in pieces in matter of hours. Damn was I angry :S

Barry M - Pure Torquise & Crackle

If anybody asks me what my favourite colour is, I say torquise. So this is the nailpolish that catches that colour in a bottle perfectly. Two coats, no TC.

I couldn't resist and put a coat of Barry M's Instant nail effects over it (aka cracle polish). It's soooo cool:) It dries matte, and if you put a thin layer on, the pieces of cracked polish are small, if you put a thicker coat on, the pieces are bigger. I'm going to wear this over everything now:)

Thanks Maja from licila.si for the torquise one ;)

Barry M Dazzle Dusts

I already told you I'm an eye model now:) Today my pics were put up on licila.si and yes, I have to show off:)

I'm in desperate need of sleep, so I just have a quick post with some of my favs of the Dazzle Dusts. All are over Art Deco's eyeshadow base, and mascaras are various.

Charcoal

Saphire

Marigold

Khaki

Aqua

These are just a few, I have more favourites:) I'll show them sometime later. And now that I have all these e/s, you'll probably see my eyes more often.

EOTD two times

I know you're not used to seeing my eyes - I actually think I haven't posted any EOTD pics at all. So, here goes: my eyes :)

For the first one I used Barry M Dazzle Dust in Silvery black, Old gold and Grey. I also used Maybelline's Falsies mascara.

For this one I used Barry M Dazzle Dust in Lime, Yellow and Khaki. and again, Maybelline's Falsies.

I really like Barry M's eyeshadows, they're super pigmented and they apply nicely. I used S-he All in one jumbo pencil for base in both looks.

Barry M - Shocking Pink

A couple of days ago, I got an opportunity to recieve a nail polish by Barry M to review. Well, what kind of polish lover would I be if I passed on that chance? :)The polish was sent to me by the lovely Maja from ličila.si. They're the Slovenian sellers of Barry M cosmetics.

Anyway... When I opened the package today, I was like: nooooo, a pink one... A Shocking Pink nonetheless. You know I'm really not a pinkish person when it comes to my nails :) But I guess we all know how this story ends... I ended up loving it:)

Here's the bottle:

And opened bottle with the brush:

I applied it over my regular base coat. Just about then the magic happened - I realised it's really not such a terrible colour:) The application was great - no streaks, no bald spots. The brush is teeny bit flattened and more on the hard side, which I love. I was able to be so precise I had absolutely no cleanup - all the pics you see are tottaly as it was right after polishing.

Believe it or not, this is a one-coater. Here's what it looks under artificial light after just one coat:

I added another coat to see if it did anything to the colour. Well, sort of.. But I would say you can definetly get away with just one coat if you're careful and the layer is more on the thick side.

All of the pics below are two layers, without top coat. Sorry, since it's sort of late here in Slovenia, there's no sunny photos.

Under artificial light:

With flash:

And drying... It took it's time - I'd say drying time is average. Unfortunately I still don't have a quick drying top coat to test it with that.

I figured, since it's a one-coater, it should work with konad. And again, yes, it does. I stamped a few patterns from Konad m61 onto plain white paper.

Even though I did get this polish for free to review, it absolutely didn't affect my opinion. I really do love it! At ličila.si you can get it for 4,45€. It's not the cheapest one, but even I, the cheap-o of all cheap-os, will definetly consider buying some more of them. Ah, this is a painful hobby for my wallet :)
