L.A. Colors unknown

This is a polish I bought on a forum sale a while ago and I have no idea what it's called. I actually like it, even if it's pink. It's a hot magenta reddish colour with blue flashing glitter. It totally bothers me not knowing the name, so I need your help. I googled and googled and I can't decide which colour this could be. It's from the Color Craze Metallic nail polish range. Please help :)

Do any of you know which polish this could be? Pleeeeease! :)

Claire's Mood - calm/wild

This is, in my opinion, really gorgeous. And yes, I know it's pink, but it's great anyways!!

Two coats, no TC. A furry bonus in one pic is my Galileo :)

L.A. Girl Rock Star - Overdose

Before I start, I have to warn you. If you're against bling blingy nails or have some sort of sensitive eyes, skip this post:)

This is one of the polishes I got myself as a present for my degree. It's super blingy, and it's basically blue, pink and silver glitter in a clear base. Because of the clear base it took four coats to get somewhat good coverage. Next time I think I'll use a cream purple base underneath. But it's still great! It's blingy in a weird way - you can see all the different coloured glitters and still they come together into a sigle perfection glitter polish... Ah, the polish love:)

Anyway, pics:

And a blurred one, so you can see all the sparkling going on:

Then, I had to try it matte:) First I did a line over my nails with different matte top coats, but I seriusly can't remember which nail is which top coat. As you can see it doesn't matter anyway as the effect is the same with all three. I used Jessica - No shine finish, Essence - Matt top coat and China Glaze - Matte magic.

Don't like it? No worries, I didn't either. So I mattified whole nails. I have to say I like this version the most. No matte top coat can prevent this one from shining, but it does tone down the shine a bit, and sort of unifies the polish. It's not so much INYOURFACEBLING!! anymore, but still sparkly and great!

Which version do you like the best?

Oriflame - Bahia Pink

Now, I don't like this polish. But it was the first one I bought that was of a little more daring colour. Yes, I mean not pastel pink or nude or sheer. It's shimemry and redish pink. I loved it back in the days, today - not so much. But I seriously had to share this nostalgic moment with you guys:)

Three coats, still a lot of VNL.

I'm uploading pics of swatches from the new Essence collections as I'm writing this, so that's what you can expect next:)

Claire's Mood - funky/fabulous

I hate this polish! You know that I rarely say the h word about a polish, almost every polish deserves some love. Well, this one doesn't. The colour in itself is ok, neonish pink. I could live with that, if it was truly a colour changing polish. Well, it isn't. Damn. Part of the problem is surely that the two colours are very similar, but I still don't think that it changes like it should. Damn again. Application wise it was ok - two coats and no TC, because I kind of liked the satin finish it has.

China Glaze - QT

Yay, ChG!:) I got this in a mini swap:)

I was sort of dissapointed - after all the raves and great pics I was a little let down by this polish. A little too holo perhaps? Don't know. Anyway, I'll wear it again for sure:)

Essence - Sparkling Dawn

This is one of the rare pinks I actually tolerate. It's foily greatness is a bottle:)

Three coats, shines like hell:)

Essence - Happy Holiday

This one is from the All I Want trend edition. Deep pink with blue and red tiny particles. Can't really comment on the colour, after all it's pink:)

Essence - Pink Punk & VLN glitter

This mani I did yesterday, don't know why. I hated it, so it only lasted for like an hour, and then I started to scratch the glitter off because I was nervous, and then it was a complete fail:)

I used Essence's Pink Punk from the Glam Rock TE. It's a holo, but it's muted in the pics because I had to use a TC over it because of the glitter. The glitter is from the Viva La Nails sample pack.

Does it happen to you too that you want to paint your nails, but can't decide on the colour, and then just paint it with a random polish and then hate it? I must have tried like five polishes yesterday, and got fed up with each in like an hour. It seems that I have more incentive to paint my nails nice when I go out of the house. Seems sort of vain to paint my nails just for myself. And since I've been staying in lately, I have no reason to paint my nails, so then I just do random manis. Ah, the troubles of life... Have to get out, have to see other people!

Moda 25 and Sally Hansen Sea and be Seen

The Moda polishes were a discovery:) I haven't heard of them before, and I found them in a local shop, sitting desperately in a bag waiting to be bought. Not to worry, I rescued a few:) This is the one I tried first - 25. Three coats and dried quite fast. I love how it glows pink, I'd rather if it was blue, but I forgive it. Pics under artificial light, because I took them in the evening.

And because I can't look at my pink nails for long, I put Sally Hansen's Sea and be Seen over it. One or two coats, you'll see the difference.

Do you like it? I evened it out eventually by putting another coat on the ones I had previously put just one, so now I have light blue nails with flashing green and pink. Lovely!

Color Club - Ultra Violet

Well, I'm back. Seems like panic attacks and deserted islands don't mix....

On my nails today a summery colour, at least for me - Color Club's Ultra Violet. It took three coats, and it's a lovely pink, but has a blue shimmer that makes it sort of violet in all. I quite like it, surprisingly enough :)

In indirect sunlight:

And I see I have 100 followers. OMG, I'm totally in awe :) Looks like another giveaway is the thing to do :)

Petites - Coral Pink

Something weird happened today. I was sitting behind my desk, writing my thesis, and suddenly though something in the lines of :"Hey, I should put a coral or a pink on my nails today." Yeah, I know, I must be ill. If I'm not fed up with the colour by tomorrow I promise I'll go see a doctor :)

Anyway, I chose the perfect mix of the two - Coral Pink from Petites. I got this a while ago in my first swap but hadn't tried it before. I had problems with application. Even thoug the brush was ok, the consistency was not. It was streaks and bald spots all over. You see three coats on the pics, the fourth one probably wouldn't hurt. But on the other hand, not one bubble in sight, even though I did hurry a little so there was major bubbling potential. Pictures are in the sun and in the shade, and both without top coat. The colour is a litle more neonish pink IRL, but I really don't have the patience to do editing right now, so you'll just have to imagine it :)

Essence Eclipse TE

Yeah, I know you've seen this collection before. Many many times probably. But hey, give a girl a break :) I was so excited I got this collection I had to swatch it, so bare with me please :)

First up is Hide Bella Hide. I't my least favourite of the collection - a frosty silver. Took two coats:)I'll try it matte some day, I think it'll look better.

Next one is Ready To Be Bitten - a glassy flecky polish. The picture is four coats, I wanted to see if it could be built to full opacity. My guess is about six coats could do it. But I still love it, even though I usually have problems with VNL. And see how it shines? Even in the shade!

Don't Bite Me - Kiss Me is a typical one - Essence always has a raspberry pinkish polish in each trend edition. This one at least has some violet shimmer to make it stand out a little. It's very opaque - two coats in the picture.

Next one is like blood in a bottle! Thirsty? A gorgeous red polish, somewhat jelly-like, a must have definetly! I love it:) Took two coats.

The last one is the famous Undead? I read some of the girls had problems with application - luckly I'm not one of them:) This is two coats, and it's really a polish you'd wear if you were a vampire freak :)

The polishes are really nice, i'm gonna wear all of them again. Can't really decide which is my favourite:)

I also did quick swatches of the three lip glosses I bought. I skipped on the black one. I'm all for experimentin, but black lips? Not for me.

These are (left to right) Ready To Be Bitten?, Don't Bite Me Kiss Me, Lunch At Cullen's.

See how they all sparkle? Love them:)
