Wet'N'Wild - Buffy the Violet Slayer

Seriously, I love this name. I never watched the Buffy TV show, I guess I'm too old or something. But this name made me laugh, and that's all that counts. I wore this to my second thesis defense, and I rocked it - and I smiled every time I remembered I have a slayer on my nails. Yeah, I'm weird like that sometimes:))

Three coats. See the purple and pink shimmer?

Wet'N'Wild - Night Prowl

Now, this is everything I wanted Essence's Undead?! would be, but wasn't. It's a great black polish with square violet glitter that is dense and really shows on the nails too. And there was actually some sunshine today, so sunny pics! Isn't it funny how it's sooo much easier to take good pics when it's sunny?

Wet'N'Wild Craze - Rustic

Now that's more like it. A gorgeous reddish brown with shimmer that pops in the sun. It's gold and it's red and it's brown and it's great!

Swap with Chris from USA!

I already told you yesterday about my swap with Chris from Lacquer Ware For Tips And Toes. Today, I have something better - pictures!

The loot:

Yes, I literally laughed out loud when I was unpacking it. I love every single polish, and the Hello Kitty marshmallow rocks:)

Chris was super kind and put together a huuuge package as you can see. She also attached notes to the polishes:)

The candy:

And then "The Beast" cane to see what all the fuss is about:) Yes, I managed to salvage poor Kitty before she ate her:)

And the polishes:

Unfortunately, the glass file did not make it. I'll try to super glue it tomorrow, didn't have time today.

The polishes are:

L.A. Colors Metallic Purple
Borghese Stellare Notte
Sally Hansen In the Spotlight
Sinful Colors See You Soon
Sinful Colors Hottie
Sally Hansen Spectrum
Wet'n'Wild Rustic craze
Claire's calm/wild
Wet'n'Wild Morbid craze
Wet'n'Wild Night Prowl
Confetti My Favorite Martian
A franken
KISS nail art set with three polishes and stencils
China Glaze Matte Magic

You see now why I laughed? And sort of screamed too? To you USA girls these polishes are probably nothing, but to me they're all really special and I'll love them until they are empty:)

I couldn't decide which one to wear, so I did a crazy skittles. I didn't have any meeting or serious affairs, so I could afford it:)I used 10 of the polishes from th swap! One coat of Seche Vite over all of them.

Chris, YOU ROCK!

And, this is my 100th post! Yay for me, and a bigger YAY for all of you who put up with me;)

French mani aka Things we do for love

Now, I love colour. You'll rarely see my nails bare. But my boyfriend, he's something else. He sort of makes an ugly face every time he sees my nails in colour. He only supports bares, soft pinks and nudes. And the most sexy nail colour for him is a classic french. I often tell him that he can only thank god that he came about before my nail polish obsession started, cause he'd never make the cut these days with his uptight nail polish view :))

Anyway, he's finally coming home today (from the vacation my panic stopped me from going on), and I wanted to greet him with a mani. French, of course. And not even a funky french, I tried my best and did a regular french mani, white tips, sheer polish over it... I did use a flower sticker though. Had to have something colourful on my nails!

I used Essence's White Tip Painter and Wet'N'Wild Sparkling Diamonds, and the sticker is a random one, have no idea when or where I bought it.

I love the tip painter! Until today, I always used the guide stickers that come in french mani kits and it never really worked like I'd like it to. Always made a mess somehow. But with the tip painter I can do my tips freehand, it's easier and way faster. It only irritates me that I'm such a clutz with my left hand my right hand isn't the best case of a french :)

And the W'n'W I love too. I payed waaaaaay too much for it (about 4,5€ in a teeny tiny drugstore in my town), but I appreciate it today. It really sparkles. There are two coats on the pic.

So, I hope my BF likes it. Well, I hope he at least notices my efforts :)
