Ciate - Headliner

When I got home yesterday, this baby was sitting on my desk waiting for me. It was a birthday gift from Maja at Licila.si. Maja, I looove youuuu!! They just started selling Ciate polishes, and I was waiting for my paychech to splurge on one. Believe it or not, Headliner was at the top of my list.

Of course I put it on as soon as I got it, I couldn't wait! I love the brush and application. It dries semi-matte, so I put a coat of Seche Vite (thank you Chris!) on top. I have tears in my eyes, I love it that much. What's there not to love?

Barry M - Pure Torquise & Crackle

If anybody asks me what my favourite colour is, I say torquise. So this is the nailpolish that catches that colour in a bottle perfectly. Two coats, no TC.

I couldn't resist and put a coat of Barry M's Instant nail effects over it (aka cracle polish). It's soooo cool:) It dries matte, and if you put a thin layer on, the pieces of cracked polish are small, if you put a thicker coat on, the pieces are bigger. I'm going to wear this over everything now:)

Thanks Maja from licila.si for the torquise one ;)

Essie - Turquise&Caicos

Another second hand polish:))

And another one I like the colour of, but hate the application *sigh* This is three very thick coats, could use a fourth. Damn...

Eyeko - Vintage Polish

... for Elegant Nails

Another love! The colour is to die for... And this isn't even my favourite of the four I ordered:))

The only problem was tha application - it was runny and streaky, so this took three quite thick coats to make me happy.

Mode - Party Girl

I'm not yet to my usual blogging self. I promise I'll do better:) I got a huge package from Chris of Lacquer Ware for Tips and Toes today! I'll show it to you tomorrow.

Today I have a polish from a previous swap - an Aussie polish! Mode Cosmetics' Party Girl. My pics don't really show how vibrantly torquise it is:( I get my camera back tomorrow so expect better pics. Anyway, this polisg dries to a little bit satiny finish. I put one coat of SV (YES, I got a quick dry TC) on my pinky to see the difference.

One pic in shade, two in sunlight. I love it!

Vsi vemo, kako težko je slikati takšne odtenke. Recimo, da sem zadovoljna za barvami na teh slikah. Spet, slika na naravni svetlobi ni na soncu, ker ga ni:(

We all know what a pain is to photograph these colours. The following photos are my best tries. And again, no sun photo, only natural light. We don't have any sun here today:(

And a blurry one, to see the base colour:

Spet je odgovor Ja, oba potrebujete:)
The answer again is Yes, you need to have both:)
