I'm crazy busy, so no blogging. i'm currently wearing Nina Pro - Purple X-Ing, which is amazing, but I wasn't home in time to catch some daylight and lightbulb pics are just crappy. I'm wishing for a lightbox for my birthday;)

I've been thinking about a giveaway for some time now, but figured I'd do it after the holidays since there were plenty in December. And my birthday is coming up, so let's call this one Fleur's birthday giveaway:)I'm turning 25, so there are 25 items in it. yes, mostly nail polish, but also some MU that is currently essential in my life:)

And as I promised, some MU stuff. These days, the combo of the cream eyeshadow and some powder eyeshadow, quickly blended on my eyelid, is my go-to eye make up. It lasts through the day and it's quick and foolproof. So I bought these for you too:) And an addition of a lipgloss in a bloody red colour and false lashes for weekend evenings out:)




If you counted you see that there are only 23 item. Yes, I promised 25:) The other two items are jewellery pieces, which the winner gets to choose herself from my new web site, Lumpa.si. Sorry guys, it's only in slovene for now, but I will translate it in the near future:) And a hint... I figured out a new technique for the rings, I'm going to post some new pictures on the site tomorrow.

I think it's time for a new giveaway, don't you? :))

The general consensus seems to be that a giveaway of slightly used polishes is OK, so here goes. These are polishes I have dupes for in my collection, therefore are really not that much used, mostly just for one mani or even just for a swatch. Since I'm never going to use them again, isn't it better to give them away? :)

Random stuff and giveaway winner

First I have to apologise for my rant a few days ago, but I was so fed up and had to get it off my chest. Thank to everyone who commented and sent emails, I'm fine and managed to avoid the flood. It was a matter of centimetres, so I had no sleep whatsoever during the weekend.
And I have to extend my sympathis to all of the Slovenian families who did get fdlooded. We really had a terrible weekend here, and the damage will take months to repair. I feel for you all!

On another note: I had a giveaway for Slovenian blogers which ended yesterday, so I'm due to pick a winner:) The rest of the post will be in Slovene, sorry.

Purple Skittles mani and a giveaway game

I really didn't know which polish to wear. I couldn't even decide what colour. So I tweeted about it (yes, I tweet now - I'm getting the hang of it and sense a disturbing addiction coming...). And to the rescue came Shiny!, so the purple theme is her fault. I discovered I have many many purple polishes, and picked ten that are not cremes and don't have any red undertones (well, one actually is reddish, it flew under my radar).

And now, the interesting part:) I wanted to do something fun, since I'm writing my thesis and need something else to do to keep me from going crazy:) So, I made a skittles mani with some of my purple polishes. Each one of you gets one bonus entry for each polish she guesses right. And there's some help at the end of the post, otherwise it would be just crazy.

The pics I took are surprisingly colour accurate.

Giveaway winner!

No, I'm not going to show you the winner yet :) First, I'd like to tell you how I chose one. During the week I followed who entered and put everyone into a spreadsheet. Today I added another entry for those who entered and were in the first 50 followers. All together there were 53 valid entries. Here's the spreadsheet:





Then I figured, as long as I have everything in Excel, I might just pick a rondom number using that. So I used the formula for random numbers in Excel (=randbetween(1;53)if anybody wants to know). In the pic below you can see the result, and the formula in the cell window, so you know I didn't just make up a number. So, the winner is........... drumroll please.....
