On the lottery that is buying MPJ, I got the brown version with slight holo effect:) It's stunning anyway, I love the colour and looove the application. Two coats, and they dried super fast even without TC.

Studio M - Slamming Red

I was feeling like putting something seriously blingy on today, and remembered this one. I got it in a swap with Karen, and I screamed with joy when I saw it:) When I started applying it, it was really thick and goopy and a mess, so I put thinner in. And more thinner, and more... Until I ran out of space in the bottle. It still needs thinning, but I put it on anyway. A little effort and ta-da!. But it dries weird, all bumpy and sort of matte.








With two coats of a random TC, the glittery goodnes comes out:) It's still bumpy, but nothing I can't live with in the name of love for nail polish:))

Catrice - Be My Millionaire and Maybelline - Shooting stars

I bought Catrice for a swap and later decided I won't send it, so it stayed with me. And yesterday when deciding which polish to wear I played a game - I randomly choose a polish to wear with my eyes closed. Yes, I do that a lot... So the Catrice was chosen, and I put it on. It's so boring and frosty that I didn't even take pics of it. After like half an hour I had to put something on, and I remembered Karen sent me some great layering polishes. Finally I decided on Maybelline's Shooting Stars. It's holo glitter and blue tiny stringy glitter in a clear base. I love it! It really made my mani interesting, and I couldn't stop looking at it. The pics are a little bland though, because I took them under artificial light. But you can still see all the great stuff going on on my nails:)

Milani 3D - Hi-tech

Antoher big lemming. Man is this holo or what! It's so holo in fact that my camera only saw the holo part and completely ignored the green part, so sorry for that. IRL it's a light grassy green with holo. I seriously love it:) It did take three coats though, but dried really fast even though I didn't use the miraculous top coat:)

China Glaze - QT

Yay, ChG!:) I got this in a mini swap:)

I was sort of dissapointed - after all the raves and great pics I was a little let down by this polish. A little too holo perhaps? Don't know. Anyway, I'll wear it again for sure:)

Franken Loooove

I got this franken like a half an hour ago in the mail. A super nice, hardcore girl from Ars sent it to me. I'm just saying I immediately had to put it on. That just about tells it all.

Essence - Pink Punk & VLN glitter

This mani I did yesterday, don't know why. I hated it, so it only lasted for like an hour, and then I started to scratch the glitter off because I was nervous, and then it was a complete fail:)

I used Essence's Pink Punk from the Glam Rock TE. It's a holo, but it's muted in the pics because I had to use a TC over it because of the glitter. The glitter is from the Viva La Nails sample pack.





Does it happen to you too that you want to paint your nails, but can't decide on the colour, and then just paint it with a random polish and then hate it? I must have tried like five polishes yesterday, and got fed up with each in like an hour. It seems that I have more incentive to paint my nails nice when I go out of the house. Seems sort of vain to paint my nails just for myself. And since I've been staying in lately, I have no reason to paint my nails, so then I just do random manis. Ah, the troubles of life... Have to get out, have to see other people!

Milani 3D - HD over SH- Wet Cement with some matte TC

Huh, a long title :)

I wanted something shiny, so I put on Milani 3D - HD. I remembered from last time that it needs quite a few coats to be opaque, so I put one thicker layer of Sally Hansen - Wet Cement underneath. I put two coats of the Milani over. Then I figured I might as well play around a little, so I used the Jessica No Shine TC on a portion of my finger, and lined it with Essence's Nail art painter in metallics4ever.









As you can see, HD has bigger holo glitter than "usual" silver holos, so it gives a slightly different holo effect. And when mattified it's a perfect gray with silver specks.

I'm not yet decided if I like it:) The purple is a little too much if you ask me, but it's still sort of ok.

A franken by Tassa

Tassa sent me this franken a while ago. I can't remember why, but I must have done something really nice cause this polish is pretty perfect :) It's a deep lavender purple with shimmer that's slightly holo. I later added some konad, the print is made using H&M's Pure White from the mini set of polishes.

Milani 3D - HD

Yesterday I wore Milani's HD from the 3D holographic line. I really like it:) It took four coats though, so the next time I wear it I'll put it over a grey or silver base. It dried ok, but the wear was not great... The pics were taken after about 12 hours of wear, and you can see the tips are worn. But I confess, I skipped the top coat because of the konad. I did the bow using konad black polish and I didn't want to ruin it with a top coat:)

Essence Rock it baby! and s-he 455

Yesterday I had Essence Rock it Baby! on. It's from the Colour&Go line. I love the brush of these bottles! The consistency was sort of goopy, but it still applied nicely and needed two coats.

This is the most colour accurate pic I could take... It's a mix of artificial lighting and flash.




And then, I went to a local DM drugstore and saw a beauty just sitting there, waiting for me. S-he 455 - a clear base with large holo glitter. I love it! But it does take some time to dry. But hey, it's only 1,55€, so I don't expect miracles:)I put it over the essence one, and loved it! And I was surprised because removal was really not so hard, almost like I only had Rock it Baby! on without the glitter topper. I would definetly say the s-he is a good buy!

H&M Cha Cha

Yay, we have sunshine!!! I was outdoors the whole day yesterday, and it felt gooood. I really refilled my batteries, so today I'm all work and no play:)

I wore H&M's Cha Cha yesterday. This is another one of those polishes I have a love/hate relationship with. I love it in the sun and hate it in the shadow. Weird huh?

Unfortunately I don't have any pics in the shadow. I can just say it's sort of a boring looking colourless shimmery polish in the shadow. Sort of nude-beige shimmer. Bleh. But when it comes in contact with sunlight, it blings! It's a lovely holo polish, and the before nudy shimmer becomes a great base for the holo effect.

I guess I'm only going to wear this one on sunny days :)

It took two coats, it dries relatively quickly. Nevertheless I think I'll start saving up for a quality fast-drying coat. I've been saying that for about two months:))

And, tararara: the pics:)Not the best quality, and not all the holo that you see in RL. Can't wait to get my camera back, my compact one is a piece of s***.

H&M Sinful Senorita

So, my NOTD is Sinful Senorita from H&M. Sadly, I can't buy these polishes in Slovenia, so many thanks to a nice online friend;)

The polish is great, application is easy, and it only needed ONE coat!! And its a holo, and sometimes a blue shimmer breaks out. It's not really in my favourite colour range, but this one I love:)

And another good news: I finally got to take some pictures in daylight:) It's not exactly sunshine, but it's the nearest we got in a few days, so yay for that too:)

And an upgrade: dots with Essence Crazy me (Crazy about colour TE) and Princesses rule, and the line with Essence Silver surfer. I don't really like this mani, but I was studying so hard today I had to take a break, and what better break than to do some nail art:)

H&M Mad about you

Ne morem verjeti da sem zbolela... Cela cotasta sem, naveličana sebe in vseh ostalih. Sem pa vesela, da sem končno dobila svoje prve H&M lakce, zahvala gre prijazni arsovki. Danes predstavljam prvega od treh - Mad about you. Lepa lila vijolična s srebrnim šimrom, ki se pokaže kot rahlo holo. Potrebna sta bila dva sloja za prekrivnost, posušil pa se je ekstra hitro. Definitivno bo še velikokrat pristal na mojih nohtih! Žal slik na soncu nimam, ker ga (še vedno) ni:(

I can't believe it - I'm sick! I feel like s**t, I'm tired of myself and everybody else. But I'm happy that I got my first H&M polishes yesterday. I present: Mad about you. A lovely lilac with a silver shimmer, that shows up as a little holo. It took two coats, and dried extra quickly. It'll definetly land on my nails again. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures in the sunshine, but sadly there still isn't any.

Je popolne lila barve, spominja me na španski bezeg. Dodatno ga polepša še šimer, ki se na soncu pokaže kot holo. Ne morem ga prehvaliti :)

It's a perfect lilac purple, sort of reminds me of the bush called lilac (Syringa). It also has a small shimmer, which shows itself as holo in the sunlight. I just can't say enough good things about it:)
